WP reducers are divided into standard WPS series, standard WPD series, standard WPA, WPO.WPDA.WPDO, WPDS, WPDS, and so on. The WP worm gear reducer is developed on the basis of the WD reducer. The worm gear is manufactured from 45 # high-quality steel through heat treatment, and the worm gear is cast from tin bronze. It has excellent wear resistance, especially in terms of bearing capacity. The worm gear reducer is mainly suitable for the reduction drive of various mechanical equipment such as plastic materials, metallurgy, beverages, mines, lifting transportation, chemical construction, and so on.

Features of WP series reducer:

1. Smooth transmission, low vibration, impact, and noise, large reduction ratio, and wide versatility, which can be used together with various mechanical equipment.

2. It can achieve a large transmission ratio through single stage transmission, with a compact structure. Most models of speed reducers have good self-locking performance, and can save braking devices for mechanical equipment with braking requirements

3. The meshing friction loss between the worm screw tooth and the worm gear tooth surface is large, so the transmission efficiency is lower than that of the gear, which is prone to heat generation and higher temperature.

4. Higher requirements for lubrication and cooling.

5. Good compatibility. Worm gears and worms are manufactured according to national standards, and bearings, oil seals, etc. are all standard parts.

There are two types of box body types: basic type (the box body is a vertical or horizontal structure with a bottom board) and universal type (the box body is a rectangular body, with fixed screw holes on multiple sides, without a bottom board or with a separate bottom board, and other structural types)

Working conditions of WP series reducer:

1. The worm speed of the worm gear reducer cannot exceed 1500 r/min.

2. The working ambient temperature is - 40 ℃ -+40 ℃. When the working ambient temperature is lower than 0 ℃, the lubricating oil must be heated to above 0 ℃ before starting. When the working ambient temperature is higher than 40 ℃, cooling measures must be taken.

3. The input shaft of the worm gear reducer can rotate forward and backward.

Precautions for WP Series Reducers:

1. The worm gear shaft must not be used as an input shaft.

2. The matching motor (i.e., power) cannot exceed the value specified on the label.

3. If the user wants to change the direction of entering the shaft, he can remove the second end cover of the lower shaft, take out the worm shaft, and adjust it by 180. Just load it. Do not knock hard during assembly, but slowly drive the second shaft to engage it.
